I ordered the Lever system in desperation after not running for over three months with an ankle/foot injury. I know my recovery is going to be long and tedious, but I am finally able to run a very little bit a few days a week. (Very little). I ordered the Lever to see how much it could help me feel like I am running. I am happy to report that I am able to run for 45 minutes on the Lever with some support. My stride feels great and the Lever is so less cumbersome than an Alter G, not to mention easier and cheaper. I am using it a few days a week to supplement my short outdoor runs and I am thrilled.

So happy with this purchase! It's literally the nicest thing I've ever bought for myself. As a runner, I've been through various injuries and they're so frustrating when all you want to do is run! I've hurt myself worse because I refused to stop long enough to let things heal. I've paid for physical therapy and used an Alter-G treadmill, which costs tens of thousands of dollars to purchase and thousands to gain access to as an amateur runner. This is right in my house and I can use it as often as I want. I'm currently training through a very resistant shin splint and actually increasing my mileage in training for the Chicago marathon AND simultaneously watching my shin splint improve! I owe my training and my sanity to Lever!
