As an 'older' triathlete, I not only get injured easily, I have a hard time keeping my heart rate low enough for effective longer Zone 2 training sessions. Using the Lever allows me to do longer, more effective and productive workouts and keep my HR where it needs to be. I've been able to build a solid base without injury, and it's easier to train good running form and cadence with the Lever. Also, I love that I talk with a real person when I use Lever's chat feature -- a huge plus for me.
Brilliant! After 16b months of no running due to injury, I brought one of these as I need to build strength up before loading my body fully. With the extra bodyweight taken off I can actually run and keep it going which feels like im progressing and accomplishing which is driving my motivation even more. Anyone who has a injuiry or has had them in the past, its a great investment
The Lever UP has helped me tremendously post meniscus resection recovery. Since injury and post surgery I have had to learn to walk again. The Lever UP has allowed me to practice the mechanics and motion of walking without full impact. Im gradually working my way up to a jog. Peloton tread paired with the Lever UP is a perfect match. Highly Recommend.
I was able to run Boston Marathon then Chicago and NY this past year after suffering a pelvic stress fracture and hamstring tear Sep. 2022. I couldn't run for 10 weeks then after utilizing 75% of my training on the Lever, I was able to compete in Boston 22 and Chicago and NY 2023 running 3:33, 3:28 and 3:32 respectively ... at 48 years old! :) Thank you!!!
